Since the release of my book, and the launch of this website, I have met the most interesting people from all walks of life and from all angles of this rx drug issue. Two of the people I met are the inventors/promoters of a product reflecting cutting edge technology applied to an old fashioned concept: A lockbox medicine safe that opens with fingerprint identification.
What a great idea. No combinations to struggle with, no keys to lose, etc.
But before I launch into this, let me get one thing straight. I am not a shill. I found this product, or I should say, the product found me. So don’t get all worried that I’ve made this up to sell something. That’s not me.
The company is called RX Drug Safe.
I believe that Mark and Lorraine and I have the same goals: Keep drugs that have been prescribed to us out of the hands of those who will abuse them. Raise awareness about the off-label use and dangers of these prescription painkillers.
I am proud to say, I’m now a consultant and spokesman for their company.
According to the RX Drug Safe video: “More than half of American adults are currently taking prescription drugs.” One in 5 teens have abused prescription drugs, and 70% get them from family and friends. “The medicine cabinet has become the new drug dealer of choice.”
I negotiated with the company to give you half off their flagship drug safe if you use the coupon code from my store or home page when you order your safe. The link will take you directly to their site.
Maybe we can stop this, first with knowledge and then with the proper tools. This just might be the next generation of childproof cap.
